Saturday Reunion

There have been some questions about the reunion events. I want to encourage everyone to RSVP and attend the Saturday reunion. The Saturday reunion is the only night that we will be together as a class- the entire upper floor of the restaurant will be closed off and will be catered just for us- it'll be our chance to see everyone and catch-up. While the Friday night event will be a lot of fun, it's not only for the Class of 1996- it's open to the general public and it might be more difficult for you to catch-up with your classmates.

We've finally set everything up for the reunion. It'll be at Anthony's, 3109 Piedmont Road on August 5, 2006 from 7:00 to 11:00. You can check out the place at www.anthonysfinedining.com

Tickets will be $60.oo per person and will include a formal dinner: Caesar Salad, Entrée – Chicken, Pasta with veggies, or Spinach and cheese stuffed ravioli. There will also be a dessert and coffee station. If you want a vegetarian entree, please contact Amy at amyschwartz23@hotmail.com There will be a cash bar.

Dinner will start promptly at 7:30. Cocktail attire will be appropriate. Dates are encouraged to attend as well. Please RSVP with payment as soon as possible because space if limited to a 160 people. If you intend to attend the event, you MUST RSVP and PAY no later than July 26, 2006, but again, space is limited so it's smart to RSVP early. Katherine will send out an evite with a paypal link- you can pay by paypal or check.

August 4, 2006- We'll meet at Compound, 100 Brady Avenue, N.W. Atlanta, at 9:00. Kelley Cunningham and Sabra Burgher will be at the entrances and will direct you to an area where we'll all be hanging out.

August 6, 2006- We'll meet at noon at Rhyne Park. Bring your children and invite any old CHS alum- especially those who graduated between 1993 and 1999. Please also invite any teachers you keep in touch with- if you keep in touch with any.

If you have any songs that you would like to hear at the reunion, please send me or Lauren an e-mail. You could also just post what songs or type of music you want played at the reunion in the Comments section.

Just as an update, Amy has been working very hard on getting a venue for the Saturday reunion. Kelly Cunningham has also been working very hard to plan the Friday night event. We'll post something very soon.

Campbell Class of 1996 Reunion

Hello everyone,

Our reunion will be on August 5, 2006. Ticket prices are going to be around $50.00 per person. Katherine Nalley-Davis, a few others and I are working on getting the contact list together. Nate Banks and a few others are working on planning a picnic on Sunday, August 6, 2006. We'll try to get a softball game together as well. This will be a family friendly event- so if you have children, please feel free to bring them. We were also thinking of inviting old teachers to this event. I went to the Class of 95s reunion in January. It was a blast, but less than 80 people were there. Since we are getting the word out early, I'm sure we'll have a strong showing. If you'd like anything in particular to be done at the reunion, please drop Katherine, Lauren, Amy, or me a line.

Katherine is in the process of setting up a PayPal account. After we get a venue set-up, you can RSVP/pay via PayPal or pay by check. Please continue to check this blog site intermittently for updates.
